Event Details

What could be better than a soft summer evening outdoors experiencing live music.  We think not much and so every summer the Hilliard Arts Council hosts a Sunday evening concert series featuring an eclectic mix of performers and music styles. The concerts are free to the public and held in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center beginning at 7pm (we move inside the building if the weather’s bad). Our concerts are in the  Old Hilliard DORA zone, so feel free to bring a beverage from any of the participating taverns and restaurants.

This week we are happy to have the soulful sounds of Topher James and the Biscuettes on our stage. Refusing to take the route of his peers Topher James shunned the corporate world after a pivotal moment with his boss and began a journey of music, for a living, as a way of life. Realizing a common denominator of all the music he loved was melody, strong emotional content, and soul, he began writing in this style and studying the greats. A common denominator of all the music he loved growing up was melody, strong emotional content, and soul.

This year the Summer Concert Series is made possible in part due to the generous support of Coffee Connections, Raising Cain’s, Rotary Club of Hilliard, Blue Oak Patio and Landscape  and Westwood Collective
