Summer Concert Series
There is music in the air, music all around us; the world is full of it, and you simply take as much as you require.
What could be better than a soft summer evening outdoors experiencing live music with your fellow community members? We think not much and so every summer we host a Sunday evening concert series featuring an eclectic mix of performers and music styles. The concerts are free to the public and usually occur in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center.

Take advantage of the Hilliard DORA which allows folks to safely enjoy alcoholic beverages outside. We encourage you to bring food and your beverage of choice from any of the 12 DORA participating establishments to enhance your concert-going experience. We will also have limited concessions available for purchase.
We invite you to join us this 2023 Summer Season for some fresh air, great music and community.

We think not much and so every summer the Hilliard Arts Council hosts a Sunday evening concert series featuring an eclectic mix of performers and music styles. The concerts are free to the public and held in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center beginning at 7pm (we move inside the building if the weather’s bad). Our concerts are in the Old Hilliard DORA zone so feel free to bring a beverage from any of the participating taverns and restaurants.
If you like good old-time, close vocal harmony, you’ll surely enjoy the music of the Scioto Ridge Boys. Since 1992 when they began singing in their home church, Scioto Ridge United Methodist in Hilliard, Ohio, the Scioto Ridge Boys have sung in more than 570 churches, retirement centers, and community events in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. Audiences always enjoy the joyful, enthusiastic, spiritual and sometimes humorous, yet vital, experience that the Scioto Ridge Boys deliver in their performances. The concert will include a special guest appearance by Trinity, a gospel women’s trio performing now for nearly 25 years at Scioto Ridge church.
This year the Summer Concert is made possible in part due to the generous support of Raising Cane’s, Coffee Connections, Rotary Club of Hilliard, Blue Oak Patio and Landscape and Westwood Collective

Blue Spectrum was founded by virtuoso guitarist, Zayne Harshaw at the age of 17. The band offers a diverse repertoire of sounds: a spectrum of blues, rock, R&B, soul, pop and jazz. Their story is unique. Zayne was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. When he was 14-years old, this self-taught guitarist would walk up to total strangers and ask them to be a member of his (at the time) non-existent band. The dream became a reality in 2013 and has evolved through a few name changes and additions of personnel. But even with the changes, the message remained the same. The band shares a deep love of creating and performing music and living the impassioned motto of Blue Spectrum: “Life is not to be viewed through the single lens of a diagnosis but to be lived through the Spectrum of potential, promise and purpose”.
