What could be better than a soft summer evening outdoors experiencing live music. We think not much and so every summer the Hilliard Arts Council hosts a Sunday evening concert series featuring an eclectic mix of performers and music styles. The concerts are free to the public and occur in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center. Concerts are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather the concert will be held inside the HCCAC. Don’t forget we are DORA friendly – feel free to bring your beverages from DORA friendly establishments in Old Hilliard.
An electric blues quartet, John Henry and the Rainmakers feature the many colors and styles of blues: rural, urban, swing, and soul using both original songs as well as classics, largely in the 1950’s style. The band is a top-five finalist for the 2022 “Best Self-Produced CD Award” from the Blues Foundation . To learn more visit the band’s website.
