Summer is officially here and in full gear and we are celebrating with not one, but two free concerts in our annual Summer Concert Series.
First up, this Wednesday, June 22 at 7:00pm, you will have the opportunity to see our own Hilliard Youth Chorus in their final concert of the 21-22 season. The chorus, directed by Kristin Hodgson, will be pulling out all the stops to welcome in the summer in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center.
Then on Sunday, June 26, also at 7:00pm, we welcome the Columbus Chorus of the Sweet Adelines to our stage. An annual favorite in our concert series, the Columbus Chorus, an all-female acapella barbershop chorus has been charming Columbus audiences since 1958 and will be bringing the sweet sounds and tight harmonies once again to Hilliard. This concert will also be held in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center.
These concerts are made possible in part due to a Tourism Attraction Grant from Destination Hilliard and an generous annual gift from Coffee Connections.
Don’t forget that the Hilliard DORA is in effect, so feel free to bring food and adult beverages from participating Hilliard bars and restaurants.
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be held inside the HCCAC so please come down to Old Hilliard rain or shine.
