Summer Concert Series: Hilliard Community Band

One of the best things about summer is relaxing outside and enjoying live music. Our annual Summer Concert Series is here to help. Join us on Sunday, July 30 at 7pm at Weaver Park for this week’s free concert with community gem. Please note the location change for this very exciting concert!

The Hilliard Community Band was formed by John Crumley, longstanding Hilliard Band Director and Hilliard institution after retiring as a music educator at Hilliard High School in the mid-1990s. Sadly, John is no longer with us, but his legacy lives on as his grandson, Nathan Graham, continues to conduct the band. The concert band, made up of over 50 volunteer musicians in the Hilliard Area, going strong now for over 25 years, performs at various venues and events over the course of the summer

These concerts are made possible in part due to the generosity of our sponsors: Coffee Connections of Hilliard, the Rotary Club of Hilliard, Raising Cane’s, Blue Oak Patio and Landscaping, and Westwood Collective.

Don’t forget that the Hilliard DORA is in effect, so feel free to bring food and adult beverages from participating Hilliard taverns and restaurants.

In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be held inside Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center so please come down to Old Hilliard rain or shine.
