    1. Hi Darci, thanks for your question and interest in Seussical Jr. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be available at the Parent meeting after the show has been cast. In the past, most rehearsals take place on weekday early evening, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Frequence of rehearsals may also be dependent in the particular character role. If you need more detailed information, you might want to discuss with the Director at the audition. Hope to see you and your child next weekend!

  1. Hi,
I was curious about the dance/movement portion of the audition. Will you show the kids something and they copy it or do you turn music on and they dance? Thanks!

    1. Hi Jennifer, thanks for your message and interest in Seussical Jr. According to the Director, dance audition will occur at Call Backs only. At that time, the show Choreographer will teach a short dance to auditionees who will then perform the learned dance.

  2. For the auditions, will the kids be given a specific reading from the show or can they choose from the ones provided above? Can they sing any song they want? This is my boys first time auditioning and they are very nervous!

    1. Hi Krista, being nervous is understandable and is something experienced by all actors no matter how much experience or ability! Yes, your boys should choose from the various sides available for download here, preferably the one most relevant to a part they would particularly like to obtain. The director may ask them to read something additional, but nothing to be extra nervous about. As for the song, yes, a song of their own choosing is great. Try and find one that shows their vocal range and reveal their personality! Best of luck this weekend for both your sons!
