Next up in our 2021 Summer Concert Series is Columbus legend, keyboardist Bobby Floyd performing with the Bobby Floyd Trio. Bobby has performed extensively over the years in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan in major jazz festivals, concert halls, and numerous night clubs sharing stages with the likes of Dionne Warwick, Doc Severinsen, Arturo Sandoval, and Ray Charles. Here in Columbus, Bobby has been a featured artist with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony, and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
We are excited to bring Bobby and his trio (Derek DiCenzo – bass/lead guitar, Reggie Jackson – drums) to our outdoor stage at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center at 7:00pm on Sunday, June 20 as another free concert in our 2021 Summer Concert Series. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in The Burgundy Room at the nearby Makoy Center.
These concerts are made possible in part due to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Hilliard, Coffee Connections and the Ohio Arts Council.
Don’t forget that the Hilliard DORA is in effect, so feel free to bring food and adult beverages from participating Hilliard bars and restaurants.
