Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Annie Jr. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930’s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Hilliard Arts Council is committed to sharing the arts experience with the entire community and in that spirit, the March  5  performance will feature an ASL translator to enhance the experience for the hearing impaired as well as descriptive narration for the sight impaired with sufficient interest. If this service is of interest, please contact us at info@hilliardartscouncil.org or call us at 888 980 2787.  Additionally, the March 4 performance will be sensory-friendly, meant to accommodate audience members with sensory processing disorder.

Due to the current levels of COVID in Franklin County, we recommend the same protocol as county public health officials: masks on all visitors and participants are strongly recommended; vaccination is strongly recommended.  While not a requirement, we are trying to do our part to help limit community spread. We will continue to comply with any local, county, or state requirements should these change.
