The International award-winning duo, Genene Blackwell and Sam Shepherd, came together under the name InnerVision. Both call Ohio home and became life-long best friends over their shared experience of losing their vision as infants but learned to lean into music as young kids. InnerVision has been playing blues music together since 2009. Featuring Blackwell with vocals and keyboard and Shepherd playing the harmonica, guitar, and trombone.
Together this multi-talented duo will perform at our outdoor stage at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center at 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 12th. These free concerts are made possible in part due to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Hilliard, Coffee Connections, and the Ohio Arts Council. Don’t forget that the Hilliard DORA is in effect, so feel free to bring food and adult beverages from participating Hilliard bars and restaurants.
