Instilling an appreciation in the arts with our youth is an important part of our mission and what better way to do that than through an immersive arts experience in a camp setting. We are pleased to announce that once again Hilliard Arts Council will be providing several summer camp experiences in a 5 day-camp format each organized around a particular arts theme for grades 1 through 9 (rising). Registration for this summer’s camps is now open!
- Drama Camp (grades 1-3 rising)
- Drama Camp (grades 4-6 rising). Two camps available.
- Arts Camp Extreme (grade 2-6 rising)
- Improv Camp (grade 6-9 rising)
All camps are professionally directed and staffed by experienced camp counselors with a small staff to camper ratio providing a highly personalized experience for all campers. We are delighted to partner with The Nest Theatre, regarded as the primary training center in central Ohio for longform improvisation for our Improv camp. Our camps are all conveniently located at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center, 5425 Center St, in Downtown Hilliard.

Sadly, our Drama Camps are all filled up already. There is a waitlist you can join though. best of luck!
Around when does registration open for 2024? I’ve clearly missed this year’s deadline. My daughter did the art camp a few years a ago and loved it. She’ll be sad to miss it this year.
Hi Ann, sorry you missed registration for our summer camps. We typically like to open registration by the end of February each year. Watch our social media channels for news. Also, if you go to our camps page and scroll to the bottom, you will a way to get your name on the waiting list for this summer’s camps. we do see cancellations from time to time!
I know registration doesn’t usually open until February but do you know which weeks you’re looking at for 2024?
