Grab your popcorn and settle in for Movie Night; a high-energy, feel-good musical celebration of the magic of the movies! The show follows a group of teenagers as they get together for a movie night. When they can’t agree on which movie to watch, their imaginations take over, leading them through a whirlwind of iconic musical numbers inspired by beloved film moments from every genre.

As the teens sing and dance their way through movie-inspired scenes, they discover that the best stories aren’t just the ones on screen, they’re the ones we create together.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, Movie Night is a joyful tribute to movies, music, and the power of shared experiences.

*************************
Please bring a water bottle and a headshot/resume (if you have one). If you do not have a resume, there is a place on the google form to list previous experience.

Dance call is mandatory and is the first half hour of each audition day.
-Audioners will be taught a short dance to perform in small groups.
-Wear clothes/shoes that you can dance in

After the dance call will be the singing/acting audition. Auditioners will be seen in the order in which they arrive, and you can leave after you are done.

-Prepare a 1 minute portion of a song. Your song choice should show off both your vocal and acting abilities.
-Please do not just stand and sing; we need to see you perform!
-Have a track prepared with your start time (there will not be a pianist-tracks only). Please enter the link to your track (you can find karaoke tracks for most songs on youtube, or you can have someone record accompaniment for you) in the google form. There is also a place on the form for your start time (we do not need an end time). The tracks can have backup vocals as long as they aren’t too loud, but no lead vocals.
-If you choose a very slow song, you will likely be asked for a back up song that has more energy. There is a place in the form for your back up track.
-If your song fits the Movie Night theme, we may include it in the show!!
-You have the option to present a 1 minute monologue, but it is not required. You can choose your own, or we will have a small selection of monologues available at the audition to choose from. Your monologue does not need to be memorized.

Mark your calendars!

Gather your courage, and get ready to jump into the spotlight!

Auditions for Pippin are coming up May 23rd from 10am-12pm & 24th from 2-4pm, and we want performers who are eager to explore a world filled with magic, mischief, and big musical moments.

The story of Pippin is told by a traveling troupe of actors, led by the charming Leading Player. The troupe dazzle and delight as they tell the story of the young prince, heir to the throne, who is searching for his own “Corner of the Sky”. Pippin returns from university certain that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. He dabbles in bloody battle, licentious and lusty entanglements, and saavy political maneuvers, only to discover that true happiness is more complicated than he thought.

With infectious music by Stephen Schwartz and classic choreography from Bob Fosse, Pippin is both a humorous allegory about growing up and a dark tale of the danger of false appearances and empty promises.

Whether you love to sing, dance, act, or simply bring bold energy to the stage, this is your chance to join our troupe of storytellers. Save the date and come share your spark with us at auditions.
