They give us lessons in such subjects as how to beg for a dog, how to torture your sister, how to get the best seat in the family car and how to act after being sent to your room.  The pace is fast, the tone subversive and the scenes easily recognized. Audition Announcement AUDITION NOTICE When:     Saturday, January 11 at 10am and Sunday January 12 at 2pm             *you only need to come to one audition day* Where:     Hilliard Civic & Cultural Arts Center           5425 Center St., Hilliard Who:        Any interested actors in grades 4-8 Performance Dates: March 6, 7, & 8 and March 13, 14, & 15 Details Please come prepared with a song to sing (16 measures).  Talk to your school music teacher for help. Hilliard Community Chorus

Do you enjoy singing? Why not join the Hilliard Community Chorus? We are a non-auditioned chorus of singers open to anyone high school aged and older. You do not need to be a Hilliard resident to join, just love to sing! Come join us and bring a friend! There are two major performances a year: Handel’s Messiah in December and a spring concert in May. Our director is Logan Fletcher, an elementary music teacher in the Hilliard City School District and a graduate of Capital University in music. He is very excited to join us this year and has some wonderful plans for us. We rehearse and perform at St. John Lutheran Church located at 6135 Rings Rd. HFall session 2019 The choir is open to all singers in grades 3-8* who want to have fun, make new friends, and sing beautiful music. There are no auditions, and no prior singing experience is necessary.   Note:  Our performances in December will include many Christmas carols. COST is $50 PER CHILD. “Empty Bowls” Project

As part of the 2019 Holiday Hop and 30th Annual Tree Lighting, The Hilliard Arts Council is partnering with the City of Hilliard Recreation and Parks Department and other groups to present the “Empty Bowls” Project. The Empty Bowls Project is an international, grassroots, crafts-based effort to end hunger. Help us kick off the holiday season buy helping others in our community. Just purchase a hot bowl of soup, served in your bowl of choice, for $10. Simple. Many of these “Empty Bowls”  were hand thrown and glazed by students from all three Hilliard high schools. All proceeds are donated to the Hilliard Food Pantry, devoted to fighting hunger in our community.
