About Hilliard Arts Council
Our Mission
To enhance the cultural and economic vitality of our city by inspiring, enlivening and educating our citizens through the arts.
Our Vision
- To exercise good stewardship
- To build community through participation in the arts at all skill levels.
- To give artists the opportunity to exhibit, educate, entertain and commerce in the Hilliard community.
About Us
Each year there is a summer play where community members renew their lives as actors,
singers, dancers, stage hands, etc.
Two additional venues have been added for the fall and winter. This past season
the fall venue was The Fantasticks and the winter venue was Barefoot in the Park.
There is a community band which performs several free concerts during the summer
at the Hilliard City Parks.
There is a Hilliard Street Fair and Hilliard Art Fair celebration and a July 4th
parade and other summer events that happen under the direction of the arts council.
In addition the Arts Council has brought a variety of entertainers to perform in
Hilliard as well as bringing several broadway productions to Columbus. Plans are
underway for more such events.
