COVID -19 Response

As a community partner, Hilliard Arts Council appreciates and wants to help with efforts suggested by the the Governor and the State Public Health Authorities to limit social interactions and slow the community spread of COVID-19. As such, effective today, Sunday March 15 and continuing through Friday, April 3, Hilliard Arts Council is pausing all sponsored activities with rare exception (as determined by our Board of Trustees). While we have no specific events planned for this time period, there are several that are in rehearsal preparation including The Laramie Project as well as Hilliard Community and Youth Choir concerts. Our directors will be working out alternative plans to accommodate this temporary halt to face to face activities. This will undoubtedly result in some rescheduling of planned performance dates. Please stay tuned for more news.This decision was not made lightly or easily, but the safety and well being of our program participants, volunteers and staff as well as community at large are obviously of utmost concern and importance to us. We hope all of our participants and supporters are doing what they can to take care of themselves during these trying times. We are proud to present THREE summer camp opportunities this summer! This year brings two Drama Camp weeks specific to younger and older grades. Our 1st -3rd grade Drama Camp will be directed by Robin Brenneman and the 4th-6th grade Drama Camp director is Linda Sheppard. Art Camp Extreme returns for our second year with new projects both big and small. Camp directors will be Becky Rehbeck and Kelley Daniel.
